TARC and the Department of Transportation (DOT) have awarded Cedar Lake a grant of $533,000 to support the purchase of five wheelchair-accessible vans. This significant expansion of our transportation fleet will enhance our ability to safely and reliably serve the individuals in our care throughout the region. The new vehicles will allow us to continue providing access to essential personal care services, community volunteer opportunities, employment sites, educational field trips, and programming at our Enrichment Center.

Notably, this award represents the largest grant Cedar Lake has ever received from TARC, marking an extraordinary milestone for our organization.
