Happy Spring! Like me, I’m sure you are all ready for warm air and the long-hoped for opportunity to see your loved ones. I am so grateful for the vaccine and the hope that it brings.
Part of my spring excitement is that with the vaccination, I can start to meet our amazing donors and volunteers in person and say thank you for the difference you make every day. I’m particularly grateful for all of Cedar Lake’s board members who give time, passion and money generously and faithfully. Truly, we could not do this work without them and I am grateful to each one.
In this month’s newsletter you’ll read about upcoming opportunities to engage with Cedar Lake. Coming soon is the 2021 Cedar Lake Creative Arts Fair. This year’s event will be virtual, but the heart and creativity of the people we serve shines through on the screen – just as it does in person! Make sure to mark your calendars for April 9 – 23 and preview some of the amazing pieces that will be available by following the link in this newsletter.
For all you golfers (and wannabe golfers!), check out the information on our upcoming Golf Tournament on June 21 at Hurstbourne Country Club. It will be a perfect way to celebrate warm weather and the gift of being able to gather together, all while supporting the mission of Cedar Lake.
There are so many ways to connect, so many ways to make a difference for the people in our care. Check out all the opportunities in this month’s newsletter.
