Cedar Lake is happy to announce the appointment of Rawleigh Richardson, Sr MAHRM, SHRM-CP, PHR as its new director of human resources. With nearly two decades of experience in human resource leadership, Richardson brings a wealth of expertise in employee relations, diversity and inclusion initiatives, and strategic HR program development to the organization.
Richardson most recently served as Human Resources Business Partner on the Corporate Agile Team at Walgreens, where he provided strategic support for retail and pharmacy groups. In this role, he led critical initiatives such as talent management, program rollouts, and mergers, ensuring seamless integration of HR solutions across dynamic and evolving business needs. Known for his adaptability and collaborative problem-solving skills, Richardson’s leadership contributed to enhanced organizational performance and workforce engagement.
In his new position at Cedar Lake, Richardson manages the daily operations of the Human Resources Department, including employee relations, policy creation, and performance review administration. Additionally, he will collaborate closely with the vice president of human resources to advance DEI initiatives and develop programs for high-potential employees.

With over 500 dedicated staff members, Cedar Lake supports 254 individuals, offering comprehensive residential and support services tailored to each person’s needs.
