In December, Cedar Lake received a generous vehicle donation of a Honda Odyssey van from our valued partners at the National Auto Body Council, Glaser’s Collision Center, and Enterprise. These organizations not only provided the vehicle but also completed all necessary repairs and upgrades to ensure it is roadworthy and comfortable for daily use.

This van will play a crucial role in launching a new program at the Cedar Lake Enrichment Center (CLEC). Focused entirely on community experiences, this daily excursion program will take individuals on new adventures, offering opportunities to volunteer, explore arts and crafts, engage in musical theater, and watch sports. With this van and the new program, CLEC can support even more adults with disabilities in living their fullest lives every day.
Vehicle donations are a unique and impactful way to support Cedar Lake’s mission. Whether from businesses or individuals, these contributions are invaluable. The need for vehicles—especially wheelchair-accessible ones—remains significant. If you’d like to make a difference through this type of donation, please contact Cassie Cairns at (502) 823-9083.
