Greg has been supported at Cedar Lake for an incredible 48 years, making him not only a longtime member of the community but also a true leader among his peers. With a sharp mind and a love for sharing knowledge—especially about history—Greg is always ready for a good conversation, often enjoyed with his DSP staff.
He finds joy in simple pleasures, like working on seek-and-find puzzles, watching movies, or listening to classic country music, especially Johnny Cash’s “Because It Tells the Truth.” Game shows are another favorite, with Deal or No Deal topping his list.
Beyond his hobbies, Greg is deeply involved in Cedar Lake life. He proudly serves as the captain of the Cedar Lake Special Olympics team, contributes his ideas and energy on the Cedar Lake One Celebration Committee, and even assists with new hire orientation—helping newcomers feel welcomed and prepared. He also enjoys attending car shows and takes pride in his work, especially when it gives him the chance to earn money.
With his leadership, dedication, and vibrant personality, Greg is an inspiration and an essential part of the Cedar Lake family.
