Candice has been a Direct Support Professional/CNA at Cedar Lake Lodge for over nine years. She has worked in different areas during this time, on both first and second shifts, but her primary responsibility has been with the ladies on the Maples wing.
“I have been a suite team leader for 5 years. I have the closest relationships with “my ladies”, they are truly my family. There is nothing like coming into work at 7 a.m. and having one of my individuals hug me and say that they missed me! It has been a blessing to serve Cedar Lake.”
When Candice celebrated her big day, she even made sure to include her Cedar Lake family. We are so fortunate to have so many special employees that don’t see their service here as just a job, but as a loving and compassionate commitment to the people we support.
