Cedar Lake extends a huge thank you to Cherry Bekaert for spending time with us at Cedar Lake Enrichment Center in La Grange!
This was the first time Cherry Bekaert volunteered with Cedar Lake, and they made an incredible impact. We welcomed two volunteer groups. One group joined our day training participants for a fun and engaging craft project, creating meaningful connections and plenty of smiles along the way.
The second group rolled up their sleeves and helped beautify our campus through landscaping projects. What would have taken our team an entire day to complete was finished in less than two hours thanks to their hard work, energy, and teamwork.
We are so grateful for the time, talent, and enthusiasm the Cherry Bekaert team shared with us. Thank you for helping make Cedar Lake an even more welcoming place for the individuals we support. We hope this is the first of many volunteer opportunities together!
